Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is she heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Thin and short. Not horribly short, but she's comparatively shorter than her guy friends and she's a pretty tiny thing herself.
2. How old is she?
Somewhere between 17 and 19, she's...formally a freshman at college, but technically probably a sophomore.
3. Describe her posture. Does she carry herself well or does she slouch?
She does her fair bit of slouching, but her posture isn't totally abyssmal. She only slouches slightly and she is perfectly capable of sitting up right when need be, although she rarely finds the need. So yeah typical geek bad posture
4. How is her health? Is she fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
Perfectly fit! Well she's not some amazing athlete person, but she's not horribly out of shape. She does have asthma, which makes running for a long time a problem, so she's not the best stamina-wise, but she's not fat or anything.
5. How does she move? Is she clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
She's not fluid, but pretty wiggly, making a lot of silly and overexaggerated gestures. Her movements can also seem a little rough, and sometimes she has moments of clumsiness, but not overwhelmingly. She’s not horribly graceful though. Somewhere in between the two.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does she perceive herself in the mirror?
She doesn't have any problems really with her appearance. She has a giant mass of hair that goes down past her waist that is usually very messy just because she doesn't want to spend the hour or something preening it every morning, so to be honest she looks kind of like a dork especially with her big circular glasses. She's not unattractive per se, but she's not stunningly beautiful. Pretty average.
7. Describe her complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
Light skin, not incredibly pale, but not at all dark, so again somewhere in between, though more on the lighter side. She has a bit of scarring from when she picked at her face when she was little, but it's hardly noticeable now at all. Not entirely immune to having breakouts though. She used to be paler when she was still being homeschooled, but now she actually goes outside!
8. Describe her hair: color, texture, style.
Again, loooooooong and messy hair. She doesn't leave it totally scraggly and horrible, and she doesn't have split ends, but it always looks like she was running and rolling around somewhere. Because she probably was. Completely black hair, that's straight for the most part, but it can be wispy at the ends and in places. Really thick hair too, I have no idea how she manages it. Sometimes she wears it in braids or a ponytail, but it’s still almost always flying everywhere and in her face.
9. What color are her eyes?
Green! Normal dark green though, not the bright, lime green she has in canon. Closer to Jake’s than to Jade’s.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
Her teeth are pretty bad since she never had braces, so she has a prominent overbite and buck teeth. A few more of her teeth are crooked, but only slightly so and it's not horribly unattractive and messed up. Which is probably why she never got braces.
11. What are her chief tension centers?
Her throat/chest, in no small part due to her asthma and the fact that she talks a looooot. She also feels sick to her stomach really easily when she's stressed out.
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does she have six of the same suit?
Bright colors!!!! Chi has a penchant for pixie coats and has a good assortment of them in various colors, including shit like rainbow and lime green. She has a lot of floral skirts and dresses, and skirts with bows on them and polka dot dresses and things like that. Her wardrobe has a lot of variation. She also likes skirts and things in which she can "swooosh!!" She does have pants and shorts, but she doesn't wear them as often. She also likes to swear stockings and sneakers.
13. Do her clothes fit well? Does she seem comfortable in them?
A lot of her clothes and big because she likes swooooooshing, and all of her skirts are knee length. None of them are like, at risk of falling off though or anything. And she is very comfortable in all of them; in fact it's why she prefers skirts, because they afford her more mobility and chances to twirl. The only problem is when her skirt gets stuck on a tree branch.
14. Does she dress the same on the job as she does in her free time? If not, what are the differences?
She doesn't have a job! Class-wise though she wears the same thing as she does during her free time.
15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
Briefs, silly.


Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
Kind of high-pitched. Her voice isn't unbearably squeaky, but she definitely sounds like a little kid sometimes, especially since there's usually a lot of excitement behind it.
2. How does she normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does she talk easily, or does she hesitate?
She talks easily and fast, but not to the point where she'll easily say something she'll regret, thankfully. Even though she has done that before. And she doesn't talk so fast where you can't understand her, but she does have a lot of energy behind it, so it might seem that way.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
Has a tendency to not use contractions for no particular reason, but that's about it. Sometimes she draws things out to be silly like "oh noooo," and sometimes she can be doing it for serious. And sometimes she uses old-timey terms because of her grandpa.
4. What language/s does she speak, and with how much fluency?
She speaks science-ese? Hilariously for all her smarticles, she's not even bilingual or anything like that in the slightest.
5. Does she switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
Nope.
6. Is she a good impromptu speaker, or does she have to think about her words?
She usually takes a moment and goes "uuuum" or stuff like that, so she has to think about her words probably. But she doesn't need THAT long to think. If it takes her longer than a bit, she’ll think while she talks and start rambling.
7. Is she eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
Neither really. She can speak just fine and avoids using big words around people 'cause she'll probably confuse them. She DOES know big words, and can drop vocabulary when talking with someone like Sam, but she's not eloquent as in fancy big words aside from vocabulary terms like Briar is. She readily indulges in Buffy Speak quite often.


Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is she book-smart or street-smart?
Book-smart all the way. She's basically a prodigy at science and absorbs those kinds of facts real easily and aaaabsolutely loves it. She's a pretty smart cookie, but socially derp and absent on the street-smart side.
2. Does she think on her feet, or does she need time to deliberate?
Probably a mix of both; she's not the fastest thinker, not with big problems at least, so she can't improv good plans on the fly. Although she is pretty good at this when it comes to DnD, but in a real situation she'd probably flub everywhere. She's not much of a deliberator though unless, again, it comes to DnD.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is she more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
Definitely idealistic, considering she still dreams of going into space one day even though she knows it's physically impossible for her. She is well aware of her limitations, but she doesn't let them get her down. She's probably more intuitive really, as despite being a smartypants she's a very emotional and silly person.
4. What kind of education has the character had?
Homeschooled ever since she was of school-going age, and started taking college-level classes once a week or so when she was around sophomore age in high school. Currently a college freshman or sophomore or something, doublemajoring in nuclear physics and neurobiology with a minor in astronomy and electives in chemistry and enigineering. Girl keeps busy. ALL OF THE HARD SCIENCES.
5. What are her areas of expertise? What, if anything, is she interested in learning more about?
Hard sciences, particularly things like physics and space nonsense. She is interested in all of the things she's studying in school, especially astronomy stuff and typically anything that has to do with atoms, but also has a bit of an interest in learning medical stuff since she talks to Sam so much, so she knows a bit about anatomy too. If DnD counts, she's also pretty good at messing with the DM and making hax characters, although that could be partially due to her metagaming.
6. Is she an introvert or an extrovert?
Extrovert!!!! And probably the most extroverted of the kidbunch since Ammy and Rai are kind of shy and Briar's probably more on the quiet side. She is definitely the most loud and energetic of them.
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is she even-tempered or does she have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
Even-tempered, or at the least she's pretty consistent. She's incredibly cheerful and optimistic, and it's hard to catch her feeling genuinely depressed or anything. She isn't UNBEARABLY happy, as she does get sad easy enough, but she's not bipolar. She's driven, but more in the "OMG THIS IS SO COOL LET'S DO THIS!!!" kind of thing rather than "EXTREME GOAL NARROW-MINDED DETERMINATION" way. She's a bit silly.
8. How does she respond to new people or situations? Is she suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
Enthusiastic. She likes talking to people for the most part unless she's trying to read something, and her cheerfulness makes it easier for her to make friends, although she doesn't realize if there's any subtle hints of "i don't want to be your friend."
9. Is she more likely to act, or to react?
Act!!!!!! come on guys let's do stuff go go!!
10. Which is her default: fight or flight?
FIGHT! >:( actually probably more flight as much as she'd like it to be the opposite, she gets kind of terrified at intense confrontation and conflict, and will prefer to hide behind one of her dudebros and recoil, or lash out angrily and upsetly. It varies, but she definitely doesn't give up when things are looking bad. Or at least tries not to.
11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does she appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
She LOOOOVES jokes!!!! She's a very silly person and is probably the only one that finds Ammy's puns actually funny and is always entertained by Rai's silly metaphors and speech patterns. It's really easy to get her to laugh, frankly, but gallows humor is a bit dark for her.
12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does she deal with them?
No mental disorders!
13. What moments in this character's life have defined her as a person?
Her uncle and dad teaching her how to play tabletop when they were snowed in was definitely important since it laid the groundwork for her to meet her bestest friends ever. Finally going to public school when she started college was also an incredibly big deal for her, as was making friends with Sam, the meanie face upperclassman.
14. What does she fear?
she doesn't afraid of anything!!!! She actually doesn't really, she doesn't think about those things. She is kind of wary of her asthma, but that's less of a fear and more "noooo stop it" thing, she doesn't grasp it's a possible life threat. Same with her grandparents, she doesn't grasp that they're ever going to out of her life ever.
15. What are her hopes or aspirations?
She wants to be a super awesome scientist like her daddy!!!! She wants to be a physicist especially, and/or she wants to study space. More specifically she wants to go to space. And possibly live on the moon. and be a ninja warrior
16. What is something she doesn't want anyone to find out about her?
She...really doesn't have any secrets. She's pretty open with her friends and basically tells Ammy, Bri and Rai everything, so.


Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with her parents.
Echidna's adopted by a pair of eccentric science types, and she loves them. They dote on her (but not to the point of spoiling, they've taught her to be smart and nice) and teach her new things, and even though they're busy with lab stuff, they always make sure they have a family dinner together at least once a week. Her dad was also a big gaming dork and he taught her a lot of what she knows, although he doesn't do it much anymore and was never hardcore. Her mom was a closet Star Trek nerd and they have had many a marathon before.
2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
No siblings, sadly. She does have a pet siberian husky named Tesla though.
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom she is close? Are there ones she can't stand?
Her biological grandparents! They're those eccentric retired richtypes that sit around and do whatevertf they want all day, and she spent a lot of her free time with them when she was little since they babysat her when her parents were out. Her grandpa she is particularly close to. She has no idea who her biogloical parents are though, but she doesn't particularly care.
4. Are there other, unrelated people whom she considers part of her family? What are her relationships with them?
She considers Amadeus, Raiden and Briar all to be like brothers to her. Ammy is practically her twin in derpitude and they get into all sorts of silly mischief together. She had to help him more when they started DnD, and they both share a love of science so she often tells him about when she learned in class every day while hanging around the shop, and has snuck him into one of their labs once. Raiden she still thinks is soooo coooool like in canon, and she loves his silly overexaggerated metaphors and speech patterns, and really wants him to be less shy and less of a shut in (though this also applies to Ammy in regards to the troll players). She also plays video games with him (though she's kind of bad derp), and likes sneaking into his house. Briar she views as an older brother and thinks is really freaking cool for being able to use all those big words and being better at writing/literature nonsense than her. She's protective of all of them even though she's physically the smallest, although especially towards Ammy and Rai since Dick seems to pick on them.
5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
Am, Bri and Rai are her bestest closest friends and brothers, but the not-being-famry best friends slot goes to Sam, who she met in her first biology-related class when she was taking college classes. I have no idea how they started talking to each other, but it happened and now they are totes study buddies.
6. Does she have other close friends?
She's friends with Teresa, Nina, Ed, Tammy and Victor since they all play World of Darkness on the side together (and Victor because he shows up at the shop at lot to chill with Ammy), but moreso with Nina (even though dogs are better!!) and Tammy, who she's particularly pretty good friends with. Tammy kind of plays the shy to her loud I guess, but she does want Tammy to stop being so down on herself. She's also vaguely friends with Kan (who, being friends with Bri, she also thinks is super nice and cool even though Kan blanches at all of her ridiculous colors), as well as Karl (who she's mostly only heard about from Kan, Teresa, and Tammy, but she does feel really bad for even though he is kind of a jerk.)
7. Does she make friends easily, or does she have trouble getting along with people?
Quite easily! Or at least she thinks so, she's not the best at social so she might miss if someone she is friendly with doesn't want to be her friend. But yes, she usually tries to get along with people and does so very easily.
8. Which does she consider more important: family or friends?
She'd probably feel a bit harsh if she said family over friends since she really doesn't care about her biological parents, but she can't imagine living without either of them!!!
9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has she been married more than once?
She can't be married she's only 18!!!
10. Is she currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
She's in love with SCIENCE
11. Who was her first crush? Who is her latest?
Do Nikola Tesla, Henri Becquerel and Pierre Curie count?

Someone smart who's not afraid of ADVENTURE!!!!

Just her silly characters, if that counts. Hasn't really thought about kids and all that hoo ha.

The closest she could come to one would be Dick for being a jerk, but she doesn't really hate him/have a rivalry with him other than standard Player vs. DM rivalry.

1.5? I guess. Idk.

Beliefs

She's a Saggitarrius. I have no idea what this entails so whateverrrrrr she sure doesn't look at naked hoofbeast art though. TTS has no set year so idk what chinese-wise would be.
2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in her life?
She's SCIENTIFIC. No really she's not really religious or spiritual, but not for science reasons, for the reasons in that she doesn't really think about that stuff.
3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
Don't be a douche????
4. How does she regard beliefs that differ from hers? Is she tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
Curious more likely than not, but she definitely wouldn't be intolerant I'd say.
5. What prejudices does she hold? Are they irrational or does she have a good reason for them?
No prejudices really! She was a pretty sheltered little tyke.


Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is she rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
Rich! Well, arguably. Her parents are definitely upper-middle class and comfortable, and her grandparents are those silly rich eccentric retired folk that do whatever the hell they want all day. She doesn't have school debts since she's got a scholarship, and her parents and her grandpa basically pay for everything, so she's pretty damn good.
2. What is her social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected her?
Upper/middle class I guess? They have just as much money as before, but it's not like they went and associated with high society or something, so.
3. Where does she live? House, apartment, trailer? Is her home her castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does she share it with others?
She lives at home with her parents rather than at the freshman dorms, probably because she is just that attached to her family and didn't want to move. Her room is littered with science textbooks and nonsense, along with a few gadgety things and geekstuff. It's a mess.
4. Besides the basic necessities, what does she spend her money on?
DnD stuff, she buys a lot of stuff from Ammy’s gameshop. She also likes to buy things that she can take apart and then fail putting back together. And a telescope! And and--
5. What does she do for a living? Is she good at it? Does she enjoy it, or would she rather be doing something else?
She’s a full-time student right now, doesn’t have a job. And she is pretty happy with her position at the moment, so.
6. What are her interests or hobbies? How does she spend her free time?
Space. Very much space. Space is awesome to her and she wants to sail on the Enterprise. She basically just loves all of the science ever because science is cool, especially brain-medical stuff and atomic physics. She also likes tabletop games obviously, and she’s learning to get into the flow of more story-oriented stuff like WoD rather than just DnD. She likes video games too, but mostly video games that are self-aware and make fun of themselves, she’s not really all for the serious FOR THE ARTZ games. She also likes reading just stories, but, a lot of the time she just gets distracted unless it’s REALLY interesting. Hitchhiker’s Guide To the Galaxy is one of her favorites.
7. What are her eating habits? Does she skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
She doesn’t drink, although she likes lurking around behind the bar while Briar’s working. She will basically eat anything, especially spicy food. Thai food is delicious mm mm.
